Redwood City Project READ is a four-time award-winning organization committed to providing literacy training throughout our diverse community.

Project READ is integrated with Redwood City's Public Library and closely aligned with all schools within Redwood City. People helping people to build self-esteem is the common thread linking Project READ to our community.

The program has three fundamental beliefs:

• Given the chance, ALL of us have the desire to learn.
  
• Learning is an exciting and fun process.
  
• Learning is a two-way street. Students and tutors learn from each other.
